This is very helpful! I have been trying to learn Vietnamese for a little over a year now, but I find some things a bit difficult. For instance, in the second video, to say “No, thank you” you actually say “Yes No thank you” in Vietnamese. I will come to your website more often to learn more!

Well done! One idea: spend a little extra time on letters that are not pronounced as we might suspect in English, e.g. Da is yaah and there was an ‘R’ in one lesson that was pronounced completely differently as I recall.

Also, a lesson idea: Ordering Vietnamese food like Pho (not ‘Fho’ but rather ‘Fuh-uh’, I gather), and my favorite: a grilled pork Vietnamese sub (BEST food/flavor for $ I’ve found in ANY restaurant, ethnic or not!!!), also maybe those shrimp paste on sugar cane things. Man, I’m making myself hungry! End with a phase like ‘That was very good’, etc.
